Our Vision and Mission
Longshot Engineering is a veteran-owned metal fabrication business based in Ellangowan on the Darling Downs, Queensland.
Founded by a former Royal Australian Artillery gunner and qualified farrier, we understand what it takes to build equipment that survives real Australian conditions — whether on the farm, on the track, or in the goldfields.
We specialise in:
Custom horse floats and gooseneck trailers
Heavy-duty flatbeds and utility trailers
Trailer repairs, rust removal, chassis work and mobile welding
Hand-forged prospecting tools (crevice tools, plow disc picks, expanded mesh classifying baskets)
